I have just done a blog that talks about a new publication and the role
of my Jacksons in the 1700s in the Creggan Charter School, in South
Armagh. The orphan children were scooped up from cities such as Dublin.
The school was designed to also serve the needs of the Scots who had
settled along the nearby river and were involved with the professions of
both farming and weaving.
