Thanks to those who replied to my question regarding the summer
school. I knew that there had been at least one previous session since
there are testimonials from 2010 on the website. I'm not new to
research in this area but could certainly use some directed help with
research. I've been to Ireland/Northern Ireland four times, most
recently in 2008 (spent a nice afternoon with Boyd Gray). I did some
research at PRONI in 2003 but didn't think it was very productive
although I did find a little bit. I had the feeling that there was
lots more to be found but I didn't know how to find it. That's why
this is appealing. I've also researched a couple of times at the FHL
in SLC and hope to return there for a few days this Spring. Colin, I
certainly haven't memorized all that Linda's told us but I've
certainly learned from it. Even got her recommendation for a B&B in
Belfast. The last time I stayed there I was told I was staying in the
"Linda Merle room"!
