Hello,

Is anyone on this list aware of any stories related to a John Cassidy and
Elizabeth mackie? Apparantly the story is that they eloped to canada (pictou
area of nova scotia late 1700s) so they could be together as her father was
a laird and did not approve of their relationship. I cant find any info on
them on any passenger lists , or any real proof they existed.
