Contact the DNA projects, some projects will pay for the 12 marker test just
to get the sample in the lab. They keep the samples 25 years in storage so
putting aside 5.00 dollars a month and you will get there... With the
estranged relatives, I'd contact the male relations and ask them any way,
all they can do is say no.. and then you know you really tried. besides if
you tell them about the dna testing they might become interested. It is a
fastenating field...
