I have participated in the Elliott Border Rievers Project. My husband would
not do the test for me so I had his brother do it. So far there are only four
Rutherfords that have been tested and none are close!! I believe our
ancestor was from Anahilt, County Down, but have no paper trail. I have located
family in Hillsborough and Belfast that are very good canidates but have not
been able to get them tested...... I would even pay for the test! If anyone
knows a Rutherford in Down or Belfast and they will be tested please let me know.
We are also happy to share our 25 marker results with any project.
