The D of A that was mentioned by Quixotejo is probably Daughters of the
American Revolution. If her grandmother was a DAR that would be marvelous
and they would have the record. She can contact them on the web. They will
have the application of her grandmother and she can apply for it on line.
It costs about $10.00. www.dar.org/natsociety
She could learn right away if she knows of the patriot that served in the
Revolution.
