Just FYI ,,,,,,,,

ON ARTHUR: See Albion's Seed (p. 833-866). Also see: "The Ulster Background
of Chester Alan Arthur", Irish Society Year Book (1939) (p. 38-49)

ON POLK: I have a GEDCOM of the presidential genealogies. Both I and a guy
(from my town) is also named James Polk <> are also
related to the 11th President, James Knox Polk, among others. One good
source is "The Polks of North Carolina and Tennessee" NEHGR 77 (1923). The
Polks were Pollocks t one point, in North British border country. The book
"Albion's Seed" (p. 649) also shows the Polk genealogy starting with Capt.
Robert Pollock & Magdalen Tasker Porter, emigrants from Londonderry in 1698.
