Hi folks, found this In "Forbes Road: Parnells Knob to Burnt Cabins" by Harry E Foreman.

P 34. Feb 11, 1756: 9 Delawares appeared near JordanÂ’s Knob and burned down Widow CoxesÂ’ house and carried off two sons. The one was returned but local people believe the other was lost. Not so says Forbes. He found a deed in the Franklin Co Recorders Office that in 1765 a Richard Cox of Roan Co, NC, sold land in Peters Twp, on Broad Run,going into lands of Patrick McCamish and Widow Jordon to Thomas Fleming and Samuel Holiday.
