As we end this year, I would like to put out a request for suggestions as
how to locate where a relative died. My uncle, Reginald (aka Roger) Joseph
Lynch McDade was born in Glasgow Scotland on 24 Dec 1924. His parents were
Hugh McDade of Letterkenney Ireland and Eileen Lynch of Limerick Ireland.
Family legend has it that Reggie died shortly after WWII in a motorcycle
accident in London. This past year, I came in contact with a third cousin
who was also researching the family. His mother, my grandfather's niece,
remembered not where he died but that he was in fact married (his wife came
from either Australia or New Zealand) and they had children. With the help
of British Ancestry, I have been able to locate lots of family information
in Scotland and they research death notices in London and Reggie's death was
not found.
It is my hope for the new year to find this lost relative and that someone
my have the ability to look up notices for Ireland, Australia and New
Zealand to see if I might find some information and/or suggestions as to
where to turn to next.
Good wishes for a Happy New Year to all.

Researching: Sullivan, Collin, Birchall and Casey from Skibbereen, Cty Cork;
Lynch and Curle from Cty Limerick; and McDade, McClay and O'Donnell from
Letterkenny, Cty Donegal.
