Hi Ed, and <GRIN>. The sorbie site (see below)
is really not objective. It definitely 'pro
Covenantor' and therefore rather romantic. And
therefore non-cognitive and not too helpful with the
genealogy. In general Scottish covenanters aren't
too helpful with the genealogy as they all bear
very common names and so are impossible to separate
from one another though our mothers all want to
be descended from them.

I'd like to find some real records of who went
to Ireland and when: with Monroe's Army or later
during the Killing Times.

To date only the fairies seem to have any recall
and they are hard to track down and convince
into talking!
