It is said that my ancestor emigrated from Maghera in Northern Ireland
between his birth of 1668 and death in 1765. I tried to find Maghera on a map
without success. I tried google and found references to everything from Clare
County, to Londonderry, etc.
I'm also going to Northern Ireland to chase down "dead relatives" (as my
husband calls them). But, I'm not sure where to start with this family. The
surname is ARCHIBALD. They settled in Londonderry, Rockingham County in New
Hampshire and then on to Truro, Nova Scotia where they were grantees.
Thanks for any thoughts you may have,
