My Scotch-Irish John Reed and family were in that same area at the same
time...also getting moved off land by soldiers from Ft. Hampton. They were
back soon after in Giles Co TN, which is just across the state line from
Limestone Co AL (and Madison Co). His son, Cumberland Presbyterian
minister Rev Carson Pate Reed, married Tranquilla Jenkins of Lawrence Co
AL .
