I am searching for the following great great grandfather.
William Cairns who married Jane Lithgow. Their son Robert(who on his marriage cert dated Feb 1875 said he was born in Maboy Antrim) married Mary Lamont, daughter of John Lamont and Agnes Wylie.
RobertCairns was born about 1853 and Mary Lamont was born in Gortaheran in 1850.

I have found a William Cairns aged 52 in North Glasgow Prison in 1881 census and a Jane Cairns same age as head of household also in Glasgow.Both born in Ireland although which county is not mentioned.

Robert Cairns and Mary Lamont Cairns sailed to NZ in 1878 and settled in Oamaru.
Would appreciate any help
