Orders received Linda! Therefore, a serious post:
As some of you may know, I am working on my line,
CRAIGHEAD/CRAGHEAD, and, again, as stated before, a
book was printed by James Geddes Craighead for the
1876 US Centenial outlining what he believed was the
complete line of descendents. (Alas it is not- but
that's another topic.)
I am currently working on a transcript of the indices
to this book.
(There are almost 600 people, plus in-laws and wives
who did not receive their own numbers- approx 1200
people or more, total.)
Some of the names of other families in this index
include: BOYD, BRANDON, CALDWELL, DUNLAP, KIMBALL,
McDOWELL, RAWLINGS, THATCHER, WILSON, WOODS.
(There are MANY more- that's just a sample of the
larger families.)
When this transcription is complete, I will post this
index at Cra(i)gheads Online.

Sorry about the long URL- it's all I can get for free.
PLEASE don't send me a request for a lookup. As much
as I want to, the fact is, it's going to take me all
week long just to transcribe the indices. When I am
done I will post them to the net and then post a
message here. It should (probably) be up by the
weekend.
Hope it is useful to some of you!
