<grin>. I'd avoid mentioning religion until the last possible
moment. It might never come up. I suspect they'll assume your
ancestor's religion, if related to them, is the same as theirs.
Unless of course.....they remember <grin>. And maybe you'll
learn, if they do.

Just don't bring up religion. My impression is that over
there it's your private business. If the families are still around
and have, except for your family <grin>, retained their traditional
religion, they'll know anyhow.
