My thanks to all of you who cleared up the Ordnance Survey and the Ordnance Survey Memoirs.
I am off to the ordering and feel that I will be selecting the correct maps. I find it difficult to not be able to hold the material in hand and inspect it before buying. My friends tell me that it is the Scotch blood in me. Now I will probably hear about that from some of you folks. If so I will be delighted to stand corrected.
