And, apparently, religion and/or politics is/are the aggressive and most
often violent giving of these reasons.

we could do a great deal of good in the world if we were just careful not to
teach our children to hate.
It seems such a simple thing, but some with deep convictions about the
"rightness" of their beliefs, either religious or political, just do not
seem able to accomplish it. Virginia
