One of the more disgusting aspects of human nature is the tendency for some
people to fill our lives with foolishness. Recently it included the sending
and re-sending of thousands of copies of bunk - Nostradomus predictions,
riots in San Diego, thirty year old Canadian radio broadcasts, etc. Most of
these are like the old "whisper" game we played as children... each person
along the line adds or subtracts a bit.

There is a web site (one of several) that has been trying to combat this for
quite some time. Go to their URL at:

But please, act responsible. Pretend that the years of genealogy training
