Libraries and books. Or if you do not care about the quality
over much, the Internet.

There are any number of books on Irish history. Besides the info
in them, they have bibliographies.

I should add that larger bookstores, like the Borders chain, usually
have extensive historical sections where you can find histories
as well as at least a row of Diana-books (in the USA).
