You have, and my response was that I had found a couple of mentions in Grace
Lawless Lee of the name Doucett in the Register of Kilkenny College. Nothing about
any variants of your name in Linen on the Green, the only people of that sort of
origin were Newports from Carrick-on-suir and before that from Nieuwpoort in the
Netherlands (actually I think it's in Belgium, if I read my map right)
