Dear Richard, check the archives for the locations of the paper
in the USA. I seem to recall that perhaps Boston University
has it. However I'm moving and I don't have the time to search
them archives -- sorry!
We found the index last year or the year before and it was
announced then on the list and we had a discussion about it.
I have a huge number of links like this to update my webpage
with but I have no time right now.
But the archives are full of goodies.
www.rootsweb.com - scroll down, find Mailing Lists on left
column, click on Interactive Search. Type in Scotch-Irish .
Then do your query. You can bookmark it but then when you
lose your bookmarks you won't be able to find it again. This
way you'll find it even if rootsweb changes the URL for the
page.
Londonderry Journal? I did a search with www.google.com.
There's a book of abstracts for sell here:

Other than that, didn't find any in the USA. Repeating with other
search engines might help. A lot of libraries now have their catalogs
on line. Checking likely libraries may yield results. You can
find them on Yahoo. It is sometimes amazing what gets collected in
the most obscure of locations.
Best of luck.
