Hi list,
Since nobody can find anything to fight about, I'm going to do something
different and post my research interests. I've found two historical sources
that say these two are brothers.
Cornelius (1740-1815) was born in Argyleshire, Scotland, married Eleanor
Dougherty of the Barony of Inoshowen, Donegal, Ireland. They first lived in
New Castle, Delaware then Brownsville, Washington Co, PA. His (according
to the sources) brother John (1766-1835), my ancestor, immigrated from
County Tyrone, Ireland to the US in 1795 - first to Ligonier, PA then in
1801 to Kittanning, Armstrong Co., PA. John's wife is Margaret Chadwick and
children David, Mary, Elizabeth, Christopher and possibly Samuel and
William.

Does anyone on the list have any connections to this family?
