Hello,
I am researching my Junkin ancestors. I know they came from
Inverness,Scotland and later because of their religion (Covenanters}
immigrated to Ulster,Antrim Ireland around the late 17th century. Joseph
Junkin l was born around 1715 in Antrim Ireland. I do not know who is parents
were. Joseph immigrated to Cumberland PA USA around the mid 1730's. He
married Elizabeth Wallace.

Does any one have any information on the Junkin/Junkins line? I was told
they used to be called McJunkin? Somewhere along the line they might have
changed their name to Jenkins. I am not sure .
