Very fair, Edward, very fair. Keep that up and you'll get to be an Anglican one
day!
But more seriously, the upheavals in the three kingdoms over the past several
centuries have been, as you have admirably pointed out, driven much more by
politics and politicians (including religious politicians of whom there are
still a few too many in the North of Ireland today) than by religious
differences themselves.
