In the 1850 census for Clarion Co., PA, Helen Twp., Roll 767, p. 209, there
is listed Hugh McGarvey, age 28, miner (I think), b. Ireland, and in the
household are Mary, age 28, Elisabeth, age 2, and Mary J(ean?), age 1, all
born in PA. The ages are a little off and the place of birth for Mary is
not Ireland but that would not be an unusual mistake for a census-taker to
make. Are these your people?
