I recently purchased the D'Alton King James Irish Army book on ebay. While
some of the information would be usefull I did not find anything in it worth
the price....and I did not pay retail. Most of the info is short bios of the
leaders of various units with only names listed for the minor players. I for
one was not happy at all with the book and would recomend putting your money
elsewhere. The preface of the book bemoans the authors inability to find
financial support, all I can say is that he must have shown it to those he
sought financial support from. They were much smarter than I was.
