Hi Evelyn,
The Presbyterian records in Belfast are a special case -- there are political
reasons why many of them are not filmed. However many of them ARE.
You can find them:
1 Searching the county and parish using Locality Search
2 Searching "Presbyterian" and "Ireland" using the fiche "Subject" Search.
3 Searching collections of records -- ie some are in collections that were
filmed from other locales. You search Ireland-Archives - and then the
calendars.
4 Searching Hayes, and Smith's Inventories. Here you are searching for
published records . Some, like the early Templemore (Derry) records, are
published in books.
5 And then searching the "Vital Records" fiche too. Search them right after
# 2 because its easy.
The Ulster Presbyterian records are not in Dublin. In Dublin you will only
find (with some exceptions that I guess prove the rule) southern Presbyterian
churches.
The reason, as I said, is politics.

Linda Merle
