Dear Edward....somehow I lost myself from the SI list for awhile. Did I
miss any reflections you offered on your trip?

I made a visit to Erskine College in Due West South Carolina yesterday and
am now soaked in SI ambiance! This is a college established in 1834 in SC
to educate ARP clergy. Latin, Greek, English, math, chemistry, etc.
No -ologies!

Still a strong school in a tiny village with no public restaurant to be
found...and no accommodations for travelors! Had to stay in Abbeville which
is 20 miles away and only 50 years 'behind' modern urban life!

Found more information about the congregations in Ireland from whence some
of my relatives emigrated...two of them are Ahoghill and Broughshane. Are
either of those places familiar to you or anyone else? Most of these folks
would have come to Americal prior to the Revolution in this country...1776.

Best to everyone. Dorothy Chance
