DISNEY is not listed by Bell (Book of Ulster Surnames), Black (Surnames
of Scotland), or Hanna (The Scotch-Irish). Might be Irish in origin,
with insufficient numbers in Ulster to rank among the leading 500
surnames. A quick look at the LDS Familysearch database, at
http://www.familysearch.org
suggests, however, that it's English, centered in Lincolnshire. Perhaps
someone with English surname expertise or reference material could
confirm this (I have neither).
