Thanks...it came through great ! I can read it on the computer screen , but
my printer blurs it quite a bit. I've been 'fixing' it.

I think my informant must have been mistaken, however, about the route. My
Hancocks and Mitchells were in Surry/Sussex Co and Brunswick Co VA...the
tidewater area to the far east...right along the James and Nottoway Rivers.

The Great Wagon Road doesn't come anywhere close. Of course she was looking
at the Frye-Jefferson Map....maybe there was a migration route that joined
it ?

Oh well....thank you very much for the map....it's beautiful. I just love
old maps ! It's already in it's archivally correct page protector and I'm
putting it in my notebook.
