Hi, there's a list for discussion of old expressions.

I do not run it. I cannot diagnose problems subbing
or unsubbing from it. However discussions relating
to old words should be conducted there. Not here.

Those seeking academic information or discussion
on Ulster Scots should sub to the Ulster Scots list.

Your less specific "my grandma used it" kinda
discussion -- to Old Words with it.
