If you're thinking about Bede's Ecclesiastical History, well it
was geared to the history of the conversion of the English
speaking peoples, and Patrick's work in Ireland would have been
out of its main scope...it's been awhile since I read it through,
and I leave deeper commentary on this subject to those in the
know...
