Subject: scottish dogs - gaelic names

hi all,

the cutest of all scottish dogs is the west highland terrier.
a good natured beast too.
friends of mine have had several bitches and they all had bonnie scottish
names too -

isla
bonnie
rhona (still on the go - pup at 9 years!)

another friend had one called "ruri" (phonetically - i am dyslexic when it
comes to gaelic - though note different pronunciation of scottish and irish
words
(scottish "gallic" - "irish gaylic")).

however, my favourie scottish name for dog was not appended to westie but collie
"tchallish" (phonetically) - which is scottish gaelic for faithful -- cute eh?
