Gentle Brian and ALL:
The word "Protestant" has the same root meaning as "protagonist" and implies
not a whining protester against something, whether law, religion or social
evil, but an advocate who speaks "for" a cause.
A Protestant, therefore ought to be a rational and sane individual, capable
of insightful presentation of alternative facts and ideas to counter error
and establish truth.
Just a bit more light on the term,
