Dear Jack, if you are like me looking for the records that you need to
submit is fun--not drudgery.....I am also in the process of trying to
get together the necessary information to join the DAR--my reasons are
twofold--I LOVE the DAR library in DC and want to do something to
support it and I love the fact that they are involved in cemeteries and
preserving graves--I just like what they do--but you are in for a treat
going to the DAR library...I bought a book last time I was in DC that I
particularly like that you might want to invest in if you have not been
to the libraries there before...I find it to be helpful...It is also
available almost for sure at your local Latter Day Saints Family History
Library...It is called The Center A guide to Genealogical Research in
the National Capital Area. pp 65-71 are devoted to the DAR library I
encourage you to get a look at this information before you go if
