Subject: Protestants in Northern Ireland Today

I would swear to it, but having just spent 4 months there, I would guess
close to 1/2 of the population of Northern Ireland is of Scottish descent.
Presbyterians is another matter as church membership is declining and hard
to figure.
Where I lived in Belfast there were five churches within 10 minutes walking
distance--2 Presbyterian, 2 Church of Ireland and 1 Methodist. Membership
was mostly over 50.
