Hi,
I found McDermotts on the 1881 census in Co. Durham Eng. and it said
place of birth Ire. Lough. Would anyone think they could mean Loughrea
in Co. Galway. There are so many "Lough's" on the map but they usually
have a second name. I'm stumped. Isabel in Abbotsford B.C.
