Hi,

Just wanted to pass along a tip to all you researchers in North America -
Watch out for (and avoid) stereotypes.

I have been searching for my Great Grandfather for several years in Northern
Ireland. I assumed that he came from here because he was a Protestant. Now
I found out from a newly-found cousin that he actually came from Galway.

So don't be stupid like me and assume that if your ancestors were Protestant
they had to come from Northern Ireland and if they were Catholic they had to
come from the South. It just ain't so!
