Linda, and List members,
I'd like to extend a bit thank you for the banter
today... it has lifted my spirits. Thank you also
Linda for allowing us our 'little' bit 'o fun.
I do have a question...
Can anyone tell me WHY, when there's McCALL family
in abundance out there, just why I'm having trouble
in locating ANY?
>From my "Family History" outline, it appears that I
have at least ONE and I'd like to find out about her.
Sally McCALL m. Samuel RICE,
Lived near Harper's Ferry, now W VA (est. 1747)
Parents of Samuel RICE; b. 10 Feb 1744
Albemarle Co., VA
m. 1. 15 Jul 1772, Agnes JOHNSON
2. 23 Jan 1775, Susannah WATKINS
3. 10 May 1777, Sarah STRATTON
Apparently she had a 1st cousin that immigrated and
was NOT on the "socially acceptable list" as he was
tried and convicted of Piracy in LA. I don't know
exact connection to this cousin but his name was,
Milledge McCALL, and he was incarcerated in the
St Martinville Prison in LA. He died before his
"Appeals" had finished running their legal course.
Thanks bunches,
Lisa Grimes
P.S. My vote goes to Mel Gibson for Director...
