Hi,

My great great grandfather came from Ver Sharken in Northern Ireland. I
have looked and looked and never located Ver Sharken. Nor have I talked
to anyone that ever heard of it.

Early this morning on the radio, I heard the town or community of Ver
Sharken mentioned in the news in relation to the funerals of the
Catholic boys that were killed by the fire bomb. I also heard the name
Drumcree mentioned (I found several Drumcree's in Ireland), and of
course Belfast.

Is there anyone on the list that may be able to help me locate Ver
Sharken (or Versharken)? Up until this morning's news, I had given up
on this community really existing. I figured the verbal family story
had gotten mixed up since 1852 when gg grandfather came to the U.S.
