Dear Ron,Everything has its application, but the rudimentary townland maps
are childlike in that they appear to be in heavy pencil. However for my
purposes, which was to show the relationships within a Civil parish of the
townlands to each other they were and are the ticket.The point was well
taken that they are not as technically polished in their appearance but
they do fill a need. Here is the address for Brian Mitchell at the Derry
Genealogical Centre-Heritage Library-14 Bishop Street-Derry BT 48
6PW-Northern Ireland. Again he is head of the Derry Center, an arm in
Derry of the Irish Genealogical Project. You will need to contact him
about purchasing any of them I don't know if its possible or not. I
ordered a set ( @15 cents a piece) of all that Salt Lake had for use at the
FHC I use. I and others use them all the time. anyway let me know what
