Niether is common enough to make Bell's surnames of Ulster.
McGrotty is in Mitchell's SUrname of Derry -- Irish, from
Derry and Tyrone. It was a prominent sept in Coleraine in
1831.
I defer the Irish - Canada question to a Canadian. Help!
