It never hurts to ask,the worst they can do is throw you out( don't
think they would for a non-volitile question)and I'm sure you've been
thrown out of nicer places than this,I have.So here we go:MCGROTTY,a
rare name found in Cos.Derry and Tyronne.Woulfe tenatively suggests "MAG
RATHA" as the name in Irish. The closest I can come to McIninch is MC
ANINCH,-Inch,-Ninch,Ulster variants of the Scottish Mac Innes. Hope
