Sorry I goofed on the "KIRWOOD" reference.. forgot to clean my buffer. I have
two other names to add to this: CANER, DIBBLE, LLOYD, SEABURY
Here is the Palmer paragraph:
>From HISTORY OF STAMFORD - Chapter: NEW FAMILY NAMES 1771 pg 188-189
PALMER: Samuel and Hannah CROSS, married March 31, 1715, and had daughter
Hannah. This family name is still honored not only on our citizens' list,
but in one of our finest hills.
