Edward!!

Fancy a dedicated man of the cloth knowing all about sizes sold in bars!!!
(VBG)

I remember several years ago when my husband still lived and we had the
airplane, we had made one of our periodic trips for R and R in the Bahamas. I
always brought back some good Scotch whiskey (so much cheaper there) .
I did not know that Scotch came in anything but a fifth. After all, I am not
much of a toper.
So when we had to unload at customs in Florida, the man said I owed him duty
on the Scotch. hey, it's free, I tried to explain, but he held up the bottle
and said, "But this is an imperial quart!"
First time I had ever known that the Brits used a different measurement from
us. so for only a few ounces (how many? two or three probbly at most) I had to
pay full duty.
Oh well. On to the metric system.
