Nothing can be surprising between men and women, especially those married or
otherwise involved with each other. I remember when I was a very young and
gree cub reporter assigned to the courthouse beat. And I walked into the
newsroom with a shocked expression on my face: I had to report a case where a
wife had had her husband jailed for rape. Oldtimers on staff gave me a lot of
gaff over that one for months.
