After listening to members of congress and U.S. healthcare pundits I am
amazed at the distortions, half truths and lies the American people are
being fed about Canada. The U.S. insurance lobby, drug companies and
doctors want the U.S. system to remeain as it is. Maximize profits!
Socialized medicine in Canada did not effect any change that I could
observe except that all citizens were able to get proper treatment for
what ailed them. The system is under stress right now because of
underfunding but with an improved economy and changes in government,
improvements will occur.
