Subject: well & gems from si list

I keep a separate file, Scottish Epistle, open when I'm reading the
mail. Anything worth saving goes in there. Once a month I edit and
print out what's there for my daughter who uses it to entertain some of
her patients on the oncology floor of her hospital. I save a copy for
myself. Got enough now for a small book.

ST>folks (and okies too!) - has anyone been saving postings by folk on list?

ST>i was reading about "the well", the original email list run by neti --
ST>before email was widely available -- circa '85. it was run by trendy
ST>californian doods and actually received funding to maintain it. the well
ST>debates seem parochial and much less good-humoured than the banter going on
ST>here.

ST>at some point our idle chit-chat might be a real treasure trove for our
ST>progeny and would certainly make future genealogy scholars appreciative of
ST>their sagacious ancestors - US. think of your weans ...

ST>a wee thought ...
