For those interested, in a recent letter to the Belfast Telegraph, the
author of the letter, Ian Adamson (Dr), City Hall, Belfast, mentions
"the recent publication of Philip Robinson's "Ulster Scots Grammar of
the Traditional and Spoken Language". There are no other details
given about the book. Ian Adamson also adds "There are an estimated 100,000
native speakers of Ulster-Scots in Counties Antrim, Down and Londonderry
as well as the Laggan area of Donegal; some 5,000 to 10,000 speak
Ulster-Scots only but most are bi-lingual in Ulster-Scots and English.
Remarkably, there are those in Donegal who are tri-lingual in Gaelic,
Ulster-Scots and English."
