Listers,
I posted this the other day, but never saw it back in my mailbox so
I'm going at it again. I'm looking up these names for a friend. I've
seen several references to at least two of them in the past couple of days
and have saved all of those posts for him. If anyone else can contribute
anything at all, please e-mail me.
John FRASER (FRAZIER)Bedford Co., PA
FRASER was one of the first English subjects to cross the Allegheny
Mountains and he established a trading post along the Monongahela
River in the mid-1700s.
McVICKER (McVAR)Bedford Co., PA
McKINLEYFulton Co. to Bedford Co., PA
McLUCASFulton Co. to Franklin Co., PA
All of these names would be in the time period for typical SI
migration in PA - about 1730 to 1800 or so.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Rob
